glock slide not going into battery with trigger depressed

I appreciate any help or tips you folks might have. My glock 19 doesn't go back into battery until I reset the trigger. I will look into it. try firing it. My G21 Gen 4 would do the same thing from time to time when it was brand new. It will keep the gun just out of battery when reversed. What you describe sounds exactly like what's happening.
